Differently to Germany, in Czechia there is one education to cook/ waiter, which combines content of both occupations . With it the vocational school trains certified and adaptable staff above all for smaller restaurants.
In Germany there is not such a combination. Here you must decide either on the occupation cook or on the occupation restaurant expert and find a company which offers this education.
