Gastronomy
The differences in the gastronomy professional training have been described under the tab "occupations". Because the education in the Czech Republic prepares for the occupation as a cook and server, the students were able to work in the kitchen as well as in service. Because always 2 trainees were accommodated together at the same hotel, they could choose the area which they preferred.
"In Germany, we also had free time and we enjoyed it very much. The work was interesting, in the kitchen we have prepared sweets and various desserts. I also worked in service. The staff was very nice and the whole experience was great!"
